David Ollosson is uniquely placed to act as an outside appraiser of staff involved in the planning, organisation and delivery of special needs provision. Experience and observation suggest that few schools feel confident in doing this, simply because the nature of the role and the particular issues involved are unfamiliar to everyone except those carrying them out.

He can also provide help with setting up or developing departments offering learning support, routine appraisal of existing departments, and help with preparation for inspections.
